Casting Foundries

We offer a range of casting processes such as sand casting, investment (lost wax) casting or die casting (hot and cold chamber). Whatever your needs, we can accommodate. Choose the process you require or send us the information and we’ll determine the appropriate process with respect to design, tolerance and finish, for the highest output and lowest cost. In addition, we are happy to assist with any design suggestions that may allow for production improvements and cost reduction. Dies and tooling required are produced in house at our manufacturing facility.

Die Casting

Our die casting processes consist of hot chamber machines that are primarily used with zinc-, tin-, and lead-based alloys. Our cold chamber machines are primarily used with aluminum, zinc alloys, magnesium, and copper. Ranging from 50-200 tons, this process is ideal for aerospace, automotive, plumbing fixtures/connector housings that require thin wall enclosures, and high-volume production between 20 – 200 pieces/hr.

Investment Casting

Our investment casting produces precise components, reduces material waste, energy, and near-net shape castings that require little to no additional machining. It also ensures the production of very intricate parts. Therefore, design engineers find this casting process very useful. Common materials used to produce components are aluminum, bronze,  magnesium, carbon steel, and stainless steel. Our casting capabilities range from a fraction of an ounce for small components, to more than 1,000 lbs. (453.6 kg). A 125 RMS micro finish is standard for investment casting, and even finer finishes (63 or 32 RMS) are possible with post-cast secondary finishing operations.

Sand Casting

Our sand casting production processes support parts made from a variety of different metals and alloys, some of which include iron, steel, aluminum, bronze, magnesium, zinc, and tin. Depending on the type of sand (green sand, silicate, or resin), the size, shape, and complexity of the castings can have a wide range. Castings weighing from several ounces to 500 pounds are common, while some as large as 7,000 lbs. can also be achieved with the desired surface finish and tolerance. All and any subsequent machining processes are performed at our machining facility to accommodate the required specifications.
